With all the buzz about the Xperia flagship that we saw in April , the Z4 and in May the Z3+ , now in June we are getting the Z4v.
That’s right , Sony will launch it at Verizon Wireless this summer with classic black and white models. The Z4v is a variant from its brother , the Z4, but it has an major upgrade that beats the Z4 by a mile. The high-res display equipped in the Z4v has 5.2-inch with 2560×1440 resolution against the 5.2-inch 1920×1080 screen from the Z4.
Sony also has putted some work on the camera and audio on the Z4v.
The camera you’ll have a 20.7 megapixel rear caemra with 4k video recording , 25mm wide angle lens and SteadyShot.
The “selfie” camera is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera witht the same 25mm angle less and it also comes with the SteadyShot technology.
On the software side , Sony also added several camera modes such as Gourmet mode and Superior Auto , to make your food photos even more delicious.
The audio side is equipped with high-res audio to improve your MP3 and AAC track audio quality , LDAC support to provide the best audio over Bluetooth listening , and Automatic headset optimization , meaning that it doesn’t matter if you have the cheapest headset available , the Z4v will adjust the audio settings to provide the best audio quality.
As a trademark for Sony phones , the Z4v body is rated with IP65/68 , meaning that its dust and water resisntant.
Powered by an Snapdragon 810 , the Z4v also comes with the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 to feed that 3000mAh battery.
The Z4v comes with Android 5.0.2 out of the box with 3GB RAM , 32GB storage and 4G LTE connectivity.
The Z4v is an Verizon Exclusive and will only be available in the US , but since we saw the Z3v announcement on 2014 for Verizon and the regular z3 for T-Mobile , we might see the Z4v making its path throught the several US mobile operators.
