If you are a Xiaomi fan these could be great news for you! It seems that Xiaomi is bringing its Redmi 2 smartphone to Singapore already this month. It will be available starting March 17 with a price of S$169 ($122).
But if you are thinking that this is not a very good device with a decent performance, you could be a little bit wrong. For starters, you get a 4.7-inch IPS display of 720p resolution, that it’s sharp and quite bright, even if not acing the sunlight legibility department.
The equipment also brings a Qualcomm’s entry-level 64-bit Snapdragon 410 is in charge of providing computing power, and is joined by a single gig of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. For now, that’s the model that will be available in Singapore.
The Redmi 2 also comes with Cat.4 LTE connectivity for download speeds up to 150Mbps, and two SIM card slots for dual-standby capability. If 2200mAh don’t seems much for you, the Redmi 2 performs adequately.
