If you are a Xiaomi fan in India this is good news for you! The Xiaomi Mi 4 finally arrived to India. At an event in New Delhi today, head of international expansion Hugo Barra announced that Xiaomi is bringing the popular 5-inch Mi 4 to the massive Indian market.
The phone will be on the market starting February 10 with a price of Rs. 19,999 ($320) through Flipkart. This smartphone will only be available in white with 16GB memory and no LTE connectivity.
Xiaomi will use the same flash sales it’s famous for, but for the Mi 4 the company will hold two sales per week, instead of one. The first sale is scheduled for February 10, and according to Xiaomi India executive Manu Jain, 25,000 to 40,000 units will be allotted for the first run. To make sure you don’t lose your chance to get one Mi 4, yiu just have to make your registration on Xiaomi’s store open today at 6PM IST, but the sale will only happen on February 10 at 2PM.
The Mi 4 has a 5.0-inch, 1920×1080 LCD, Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal memory (non-expandable), 13 megapixel rear camera, 8 megapixel front camera, 3080mAh battery, and MIUI 6 on top of Android 4.4 KitKat.
