It’s no surprise to anyone that the Oneplus was working on a smartphone smaller than their current flagship, but finally after several leaks we can announce that it has been officially presented and will arrive to the market for 269 €.
This new model, the Oneplus X has a metal frame with rounds corners to make the perfect connection to the glass on the front and on the back of the device, with a decent design of highr range smartphone with a size of 140 x 69 x 6.9 mm and weighing only 138g. Like its antecessor, the Oneplus 2, it also has a button that lets you select between three profiles notifications known as Alert Slider.
The chosen display is an AMOLED of 5.0 inches with 1080×1920 resolution, 441 ppi pixel density and Gorilla Glass 3 to protect it, Oneplus says that it will be very easy to see in sunlight.
And because the camera it’s very importante, this one was choosen very carefully and has a 13 megapixel sensor on the back with 4128 x 3096 pixels of resolution and an aperture of f/2.2, which takes 0.2 seconds to focus and also comes with phase detection. The autofocus HDR mode allows to shoot in 1080p and make videos in slow motion of 720p with 120fps, but doesn’t have ISO, like the Oneplus 2. It also comes with a 8 megapixels front camera with an aperture of f/2.4.
The processor, as already been said previously, is the Snapdragon 801 with 2.3 GHz clock and the Adreno 330 GPU, has 3GB RAM LPDDR3 making the device always very fluid regardless of the requested task. It’s also dual SIM(nano-SIMcard) or you can choose to use one SIM card a and a SD card up to 128 GB, the battery is 2,525mAh and comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
In terms of connectivity features the OnePlus X has Bluetooth (v4.0) and A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, GPS, 4G technology and supports all major frequency bands, radio, but to the surprise of many comes with microUSB instead of USB Type-C that is present in the Oneplus 2 and as this doesn’t bring quick charging. Without missing the usual proximity sensor, light, accelerometer and compass.
