HTC will release a new charger just like Motorola has done. The new HTC charger – the Rapid Charger 2.0 – takes advantage of Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology that is now integrated into all of Snapdragon chipsets.
This is a 15W charger wall-based plug that charges compatible smartphones up to 40% faster than a traditional charger. HTC says that for have 8 hours of additional battery life we just have to put our smartphone charging only 15 minutes.
This Rapid Charger is compatible with any microUSB-based smartphone or tablet, but only the following handsets will benefit from its Quick Charge intelligence: HTC One (M8), HTC One (E8), HTC One Remix and HTC Desire Eye.
