LG is teasing his costumers with several informations related to his new flagship, LG G4. A few day ago LG Display showed off its new 5.5-inch QuadHD LCD that’s going to be in the LG G4. Now the Life’s Good crew has revealed another feature that’s going to be in its new flagship Android phone the new LG UX 4.0.
LG UX 4.0 is going to make its first appearance on the LG G4 and then hit other LG devices later on. This new UX is described by LG as “simple and intuitive,” and the company has highlighted a few of the major new features of LG UX 4.0. One is Quick Shot, which lets you double-click the volume down button on the back of the phone to activate the camera app, even when the screen is off. LG also makes mention of an Expert Mode Camera feature in UX 4.0 as well as a Gallery that’ll automatically make a photo album for you based on the time, date, and location of images that you capture.
Smart Board is another new feature in LG UX 4.0 that can gather information from your calendar, music, health, and more and then make all of that information available at a glance. There’s also Smart Alerts, which learns about your environment and lifestyle to provide customized notifications. For example, if LG UX 4.0 knows that you like voileyball and that there’s some clear weather and no wind, the software may suggest that the sunny weather would make for a good voleyball game with friends.
LG has sent out invitations to events on April 28th and April 29th in New York, London, Paris, Seoul, Singapore, and Istanbul. In the invites you can read “See the great, feel the great,” with each “G” stylized as the logo of the LG G lineup. Could this be the G4? Stay tunned!
