The Telegram app was offline for some time this weekend. No, the problem was not in the smartphones, the application just crashed after a service interruption.
All this thanks to a DDoS attack, which had also occurred in the middle of July to Durov service.
However, it seems that this attack was not just affect Spain. Through the chart on the page downdetector.com, this Telegram service problem affected large areas of Europe such as Italy, the Netherlands and England. Apart from these places, also small areas in Asia have been affected.
This attack was widely spoken on Twitter with assumptions of a large exodus of users of this application to WhatsApp.
After this period, the service interruption was resolved as soon as possible and the Telegram it’s now working correctly.
