Yesterday we were at a Sony event in Lisbon. This event was part of the TOUR 2015 of the comapny, which will take place in the main cities of the Iberian Peninsula. In Lisbon the event was led by Pedro Jesus, Director of Marketing Iberian, who introduced us some news for 2015, news that are included in what Sony calls the “Spring / Summer 2015″.
There were news that can please everyone’s personal taste and needs. And if you are thinking that there was some sneak peek of the next Sony smartphone, think again. In this event the brand presented what they say to be the thinnest TV in the World, Android TV, the first Action Cam that records 4K, a new line of headphones, new full frame lenses to the famous range of cameras without mirror effect of the A7 series, high power audio systems and wireless speakers.
The new range of ultra-thin televisions BraviaTM 2015 (X90C, and X94C X93C) is nothing new for some of you, it was already been introduced a few months at this year CES in Las Vegas. With only 4.9 mm thick, they are the thinnest television in the world, thinner than a smartphone but maintaining the image quality, thanks to the new processor that offers greater visual experience through an amazing sharpness and a wide range of high brightness and high contrast colors.
But with the evolution of mobile devices and the Android operating system, Sony decides to keep pace and incorporate into their televisions the last Google AndroidTV version. With this, you can enjoy a wide range of movies, music, photos, games and applications with only one touch on your smartphone or tablet.
These televisions bring even more news, their remote control was customized according to the interaction with AndroidTV needs and so has a voice command integrated. Now you can enjoy your TV with even more comfort and speed. With this voice command you can navigate the browser and in various applications installed on your TV.
But if one of those people who never know where is the remote, you can now stop worrying about it and use your smartphone to control your AndroidTV, you just have to install the application Android TV.
This TV it’s also compatible with joysticks and wireless keyboard. For now there is no compatibility with the PlayStation 4 but Sony promises that there will be.
This AndroidTV also features Google Cast that allows you to mirroring your favorite photos, music or videos and share with family or friends. You only have to install the Allcast application that will search all devices in the network and mirroring the content that you want without the need of pairing, that is, when you transfer the content that you want to the TV then you can go to your Facebook in your mobile device without have to stop the display of the content.
The sound is also very important when it comes to the time to buy a new TV (despite the various sound systems available in the market). Think about this, this Sony equipment has high resolution columns and HXTM technology, which optimizes the audio quality to levels of Hi-Res.
All these features promise to compose a fantastic sensory experience, but may not be for every budget. These Bravia TV’s will be available in the market for € 1,999 at the end of May and will bring the latest version of AndroidTV.
