Thanks to some Samsung insiders there are more detailed specifications about second-gen of Galaxy Tab S.
The newly adopted screen sizes of 8″ and 9.7″ resulted in a change of resolution on Samsung devices and they will be 2,048 x 1,536 pixels. Other informations about this tablet are that this will be powered by a home-brewed Exynos 5433 chipset, but the possibility of having the Exynos 7420 it’s not rule out..
However this second-gen won’t see a RAM upgrade and the 3GB of the previous devices will be mantIained. The 32GB of storage will be expandable up to 128GB via microSD.
These devices will feature the ubiquitous metal frame of Samsung’s latest upmarket design language and will only have 5.4mm of thickness. The resolution of this devices will be 198.2 x 134.5mm footprint and weigh 260g, and the bigger one will measure 237.1 x 168.8mm and weight 407g. Battery capacity will be 3,580mAh and 5,870mAh, respectively.
However keep in mind that the devices are not finished yet, so this specifications could change when they become official.
