The waited update for the 5.1.1 started to be distributed to the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge T-Mobile users , with the international variants getting it very soon.
Issues identified by users seems to be “removed” from the update , such as support for RAW images on the camera app and RAM issues that has been pursuing some users.
But, the 1 million dollar question is , why is Samsung holding back on the fix of these issues?
The reason might be that they are waiting for the launch of the Samsung S6 Edge Plus, the bigger brother of the S6 Edge that comes with a bigger screen and a bigger battery, before launching these features to existing devices.
Samsung is walking on a razor thin blade regarding to existing users , because holding back features to boost the sales of a new device with pretty much the same hardware as its predecessor is nothing new in the industry.
But , identifying a RAM problem isn’t a very good thing to have , and Samsung shouldn’t retain it because it could impact overal ownership experience.
We’ll be on the lookout for more info about the update , as soon if it changes something we’ll be on it to update you!
