Samsung it’s very optimistic about a new chipset, the Exynos 8890 with Mongoose CPU cores that will allow a better performance of future devices. Some rumors also say that this new chipset could be used in the next Galaxy handset, the Galaxy S7.
However, the important news weren’t only about the new chipset. Now, there are some informations about the upcoming Galaxy S7 that seems that will have different variants.
According to this information Samsung might launch three different processor variants of the Galaxy S7. It seems that the South Korean brand supposedly has plans to launch a variant of the Galaxy S7 with the Exynos 7422, that was supposed to equipped the Note 5. The Exynos 8890 (Exynos M1) powered variant of the device is expected to be launched in Korea, Japan, and the European markets. The Galaxy S7 variant that will be available in China and the US will feature a Snapdragon 820 SoC.
If this is true, it would be the first time that Samsung would launch a flagship smartphone with three different processor variants. However, the Galaxy S7 won’t be release in the near future, we will have to wait a few months. So don’t take these informations to seriously because many things can happen until the release day.
