Samsung has been working on the new Galaxy Tab S2. The Tab S2 will exist in two sizes – 8.0 inch and 9.7 inch and use 4:3 aspect ratio screens. Some sources point to June as announcement for the two tablets, so shouldn’t be long now before Samsung’s high-end tablet list gets the update.
The sizes of the Tab S2 will probably have Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + LTE variant, which sums a total of four tablets. The rumours said that the new devices will be extraordinarily thin, even thinner than the iPad Air 2. For the smaller the measurements are 237.1 x 168.8 x 5.4 mm, and for the other are 237.17 x 169.58 x 5.4 mm. this wouldn’t just make the tablet “razor thin”, but would, efficiently crown it the thinnest Samsung tablet. The devices are very light as well with 260 grams and 407 grams correspondingly.
Until now, the alleged specs sheets says that the slates should feature 2.048 x 1.536 pixel screens, as the recent iPads and the Nexus 9. Both tablets should be powered by one of Samsung own Exynos chipsets, which has a big LITTLE CPU configuration, with four Cortex-A57 cores and four Cortex-A53 ones. The full clock speed will be 1.9 GHz. The GPU is a hexa-core Mali-T760MP6. RAM and camera, look like to be borrowed from the present Galaxy Tab S. That is 3GB for RAM and a camera with 8MP.
