A few days ago, we first reported that Samsung was planning to dump the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 Update for the Galaxy S3 and Note 2, in favour of the newer version of Android, namely Jelly Bean 4.3. As you might remember, Jelly Bean 4.3 was first seen in the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition which was released a few weeks ago.
We gave you first hand info from Samsung R&D, India, which is reportedly working on Jelly Bean 4.2.2 as well a Jelly Bean 4.3 Update simultaneously. And Samsung might dump the 4.2.2 update altogether, if Jelly Bean 4.3 is launched next week. This info was tipped to up by a very trusted insider working in the Samsung R&D, India.
Today, the same insider has tipped up with another delightful info. The insider today sends us a captured image of the Samsung Galaxy S3, supposedly running the Test Build of Android Jelly Bean 4.3.0.
According to the insider, the device in the picture is the test device of a work colleague, currently working on the Jelly Bean 4.3 Update for the Galaxy S3. Another team is working on the Note 2 Update. Also, reports the insider, a whole separate team is working on the 4.3 Build for the Galaxy S4 and another device (supposedly the Note 3, according to the insider). This other device may not be the Note 3 at all but might turn out to be Galaxy Mega or Galaxy S4 Zoom/Active/Mini, but one can hope, can’t he.
We advice you to take this with the usual pinch of salt as things are sometimes too good to be true.
