After the iPhone 6s come with the Live Photo, Samsung is releasing the rumor that this feature will also be available shortly with the launch of the new Galaxy S7.
This new feature will be similar and be able to capture a few seconds before and after a picture is taken. The aim, in the end, achieve a GIF of the moment you clicked the button, and you can observe this movement in different photos.
If the rumors are true, the new Galaxy will provide S7 in March with this novelty to users, or perhaps a software update that can happen at the end of this year.
It is important to mention that the live photos had appeared previously, from Zoe Capture of HTC. However, to have been “adopted” by Apple, this feature won another dimension, which caused a growing anxiety among Android users, to know when they could have access to it on their devices. Samsung wanted to take this existing need in the market and put their engineers to work so that this may be available in their new equipment.
A disadvantage of this advanced technology by Samsung in comparison to what Apple already has, is related to the fact that the capture will not include the sound. However there is a valid reason for this to happen, the pictures can be automatically posted on Facebook as GIFs, since the social network can already support the sharing of GIFs.
The name for this feature is not yet set, but the rumors suggest that will look like Timeless Photo and Vivid Photo.
Other rumors have been released about the new S7 and have managed to cause a stir in the Samsung fans. Some leaks have emerged and suggested a Quad HD Super AMOLED display , a chipset from Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890, 4GB of RAM, internal memory of 32GB, 64GB or 128 GB, accompanied by a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. In addition, the new S7 will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
