The Samsung galaxy s6 and Galaxy S6 edge have already started to receive their updates for Lollipop 5.1.1 some weeks ago. But in what concerns to last year flagships, there isn’t any news about this updates. However, this situation it’s about to change, at least for Galaxy note 4 users.
A screen capture has appeared that indicates Samsung’s premiere phablet (model SM-N910C) is now in receipt of the latest Android build, at least for those users in Russia.
Unfortunately there is nothing yet known about what exactly this build has, but it should include all the relevant bug fixes that were in the Android 5.1 update.
The build date is listed as June 29th, so the roll-out is either happening in a staggered format, or else it took a bit for someone to notify the source of the story.
Before you hit the “Check for Updates” button, please don’t forget that OEMs often release updates in “test” markets wherein they can monitor the process and keep watch for any problems.
