Samsung decided to launch a new version of its Galaxy J1 in a very exclusive market. The brand has earned its place in the market and the preference of many consumers. With the number of smartphone lines and actual smartphones that Samsung launches every year, you can’t really expect them to make a big splash every time they have to release a new one, especially if they’re available in limited regions only.
That’s exactly what happened with the launch, relatively low-key, of the Galaxy J1 2016. This release was so discreet, because the smartphone is only available in Dubai.
This Galaxy J1 may have just a 4.5-inch 480 x 480 pixels display, but it does have Super AMOLED tech. It runs on a quad-core 1.3GHz chipset with Samsung’s own Exynos 3475 SoC powering it. The device only has 1G RAM and 8GB internal storage, which is pretty common for this segment. It has a 5MP main camera, and a 2MP front-facing one.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 2016 will only be available in stores in Dubai for a price of about $ 135.
