It seems that a Galaxy S6 Active is in the works with the model number SM-G890A. That “A” at the end of the model number suggests that the device will head to AT&T.
In terms of specs, we’re told to expect a feature set similar to the regular Galaxy S6. That includes a 5.1-inch 2560×1440 Super AMOLED display, Exynos 7420 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 16-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front cam. The Galaxy S6 Active will allegedly be a bit larger than the S6 (73.6 x 146.9 x 8.8mm versus 70.5 x 143.4 x 6.8mm) and it’ll also have a bigger 3500mAh battery. The regular Galaxy S6 has a 2550mAh battery.
With this bigger battery would you be interested in the Galaxy S6 Active?
