According to some rumors, it seems that Google it’s negotiating with a Chinese manufacture to mae the next Nexus generation. The Weibo source cited by GizChina from where the information originates shares that the smartphone will be ready later in 2015.
So this year there would be two different Nexus devices, one from LG and one from a Chinese company. That’s something different for Google! More interestingly, if this rumor turns out to be true, this will be the first time for Google to go with a Chinese phone manufacture.
Also, according to this source this Chinese is yet to decide whether to use its own chipset or a Qualcomm-made one. This leaves Huawei to be this company.
In the images below we can see a glimpse of how a Huawei-made Nexus device could look like.
If this is true, Google will release two Nexus smartphones this year for two types of pockets – the one made by Huawei that it’s more affordable and a high-end one made by LG.
