Lately there has been several rumors around the next Samsung flagship. One of the rumors is that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will keep with current design trends and spout a full-metal unibody.
But now two industry sources are now reporting that this device will come with built-in wireless charging capability, which make us doubt of the full-metal unibody rumor. Both reports hint at magnetic induction wireless charging in the Galaxy S6. However magnetic induction could not function with an all-metal body, because this is a barrier for electro-magnetic waves.
If this rumor it’s true ande the Galaxy S6 will come with wireless charging probably its back will not be 100% metal.
According to some previous rumors this device will not have a removable battery so this wireless charging could be the compensation to Samsung fans.
With this new wireless charging rumor certainly will be even more speculation about the Galaxy family new member. But as said before we will have to wait until the MWC at March 1 to have correct informations about this.
