A week ago we brought to you a news about some details of the next Oppo smartphone, the Mirror 5. But last rumours said this device won’t be called Mirror 5, it will be released under the name of Mirror 5s.
Now, it seems that the rumours were right and the Oppo Mirror 5s has been officially confirms by the brand.
This device was confirmed by Oppo’s Taiwanese arm, that posted their official Facebook page, a teaser of the Mirror 5s.
In what concerns to the specifications, Oppo didn’t confirmed anything, but from what we know so far: the handset will be powered by a Snapdragon SoC with 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, and sport a 5 inch display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. It will come with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, and pack in a 2,420mAh battery.
In terms of camera, the Mirror 5s will feature an 8MP rear unit and a 5MP selfie snapper. It will offer dual-SIM support and run Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
Oppo Taiwan said that the Mirror 5s is coming soon but rumours had suggested that it will be unveiled sometime in the second week of July.
