Until now, OnePlus has only committed to releasing its next smartphone sometime during the third quarter of this year.
Now, though a new rumor from China wants to give us a more concise time frame. So the OnePlus 2 should be made official in July.
This apparently comes from a source that’s been reliable in the past. The new OnePlus smartphone is also rumored to be available at CNY 1,999 in China ($322 or €285).
If this it’s true, the handset should be offered internationally starting at $349 and €349,. That’s going to be $100 and €100 more than what the OnePlus One is being sold for now.
The device should reportedly come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3GB of RAM, a 13 MP rear camera, and a 1080p touchscreen. Other details haven’t been conclusively leaked yet, but the OnePlus 2 is going to run the in-house developed Oxygen OS based on Android 5.1.
