The Nexus Root Toolkit v2.1.1 has been released and will ensure that those interested in customizing their equipment, as well as Android programmers, can already make use of root on their Nexus with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
This one features full Android 6.0 Marshmallow automation. It also takes advantage of TWRP’s adb root shell. instead of the old modified boot.imgs.
The developer Wug Fresh, responsible for this new Nexus Root Toolkit, adopted a method known in this area: Chainfire Autopatching. This ensures that the root is guaranteed to process more secure and efficient. Like most updates, this also includes the correction of several bugs that existed in the previous version.

This version boasts of full support for Android 6.0 Marshmallow but please note this is just a minor revision and not a major app update so don’t expect too much.
