After one week OnePlus lauched the One’s Cyanogen OS 12 update, the startup of the Chinese has halted its rollout. It’s because the “Ok OnePlus” voice activation feature is finally complete to release, after almost a year of promise.
“OTA rollout was paused due to new “OK OnePlus” feature being added”, has been confirmed by Carl Pei, the founder of OnePlus, on Twitter.
The Ok OnePlus it’s similar to Ok Google, just say the magic words to wake up the device, and then just give the commands by voice, like create reminders and alarms, make calls, fetch the weather prediction, and other stuff.
This feature has been announced almost a year ago by OnePlus, but until today, OnePlus wasn’t capable to get it for public consumption.
The update’s rolling “should resume mid week”, but we all know how OnePlus works with deadlines, so, don’t be too upset if you can’t see it this week, but know that sooner it will be making its way.
