There are new images of the next Huawei Nexus, with the codename Angler.
This time the device is in a protective case that hides some of its features, but one thing we can see, the USB Type-C port.
The oval port on the bottom of the smartphone it’s the expected USB port. Google strongly hinted at Type-C support in upcoming Nexus smartphones.
Type-C will probably be the standard adopted by all major devices in 2016, but it’s too early to say this for sure. So far only a few Type-C devices have been released including the OnePlus 2 and ZenPad S.
Also note the bootloader in the image above. It shows 64GB of storage and an MSM8994 CPU. That’s a Snapdragon 810.
