A couple of rather interesting, low-quality photos have surfaced online. They are coming from Entel -Chile’s carrier and shows two upcoming Motorola smartphones. The first one is the Moto G (2015) or 3rd gen. This handset has come a long way since the original came out in 2013 and the ultimate iteration promises to pack even more Android goodness and produtivity with not breaking the bank.
The phone was spotted in a few live pictures and a video in June, so we already have an idea what is coming . The news confirms a lot of this initial information. The Moto G (3rd gen) bears a lot of visual resemblance to the current second generation and still have the 5.0-inch display, and probably the 720p resolution as well.
As far as we know, the CPU is a quad-core unit, running at 1.4GHz, possibly the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410. Internal storage is 8GB and RAM 1GB, and there’s a microSD slot. Judging by the previous Moto G’s, dual-SIM variety should be launched too. The rear camera will have 13MP,dual LED flash and the front shooter 5MP.
The other smartphone featured in the leaked photos seems to be a Moto X familiar. The title leads us to believe in a Moto X Sport. The headset is 5.2-inch screen, just as actual Moto X, but maybe with an extra protection, which we can’t really tell from the photo. It includes a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP sefie one, which is an upgrade over the current Moto X. We do also have some information about the chipset – mainly it is a quad-core chip, running at 1.5GHz, but a make and model is not specified.
Finally, the leak leads us to believe that this two models will be unveiled in August, which is just a few weeks away, so, prepare for a new batch of Motorola goodies soon.
