Chromecast is a revolutionary device that allows you to do media streaming with ease. The first device was (and is) a huge success for Google, and now a second generation for this product seems to already be in development, reports the tech website 9to5Google.
Later this month, Google will have a special event where is expected for two new Nexus smartphones to be revealed, one from LG and one from Huawei. There’s the change that both these devices will already be accompanied by this new dongle. The acessory itself differs from the first generation by having a Fast Play feature, faster WiFi, and screen notifications.
There’s not much information on this new release, but it can be expected to have a USB connector part sticking out and to be available in black, red and yellow, which is a nice option instead of the classic black for these types of dongles. It will be smaller than the first Chromecast, and in comparison, also smaller than the Lenovo Cast.
For more information about it, we’ll just have to wait a few weeks for the big announcement, on September 29th.
