There’s not much information on the new Moto 360 that is about to be released, one of the few information we have is that there will be two version of the device, the Moto 360S and Moto 360L, that are a smaller and a larger version, respectively. Now it seems that there’s another version for this, which is the Moto 360 “Sport”, with at least one flashy color to represent the sportiveness. This new version will focus more on the fitness aspects and will have, among other things, a fitness tracking app or watch face showing heart rate, a timer, and other features.
The Moto 360 Sport will be released in three colors, Black, White and Orange. Other than the colors, the big difference from the other 360 counterparts, is that, like many sport watches, the wristband is made of polyurethane, which is more comfortable if the purpose is for it to be used while doing exercise. It also has a heart-rate monitor.
According to an Upleaks tweat, the release for the standard Moto 360 will be somewhere in September, 8th being the most likely date. The Moto 360 Sport however, will only be release in November, which can re-boost sales because of the holidays, but seems a bit late in the year for something meant for outdoor activities.
Another render that surfaced is from the standard Moto 360, which shows the watches face clearly, as you can see below.
Motorola and other Android OEM’s are also planning to launch new Android Wear devices at IFA Berlin later this week. And with the most variant devices being release, we’ll have to keep an eye to see who comes out on top.
