There are more images of the Meizu MX5’s metal housing online. These smartphone, as said in early news, will be release in a little over a week, on June 30 in China.
The images fall in line with past leaks. They confirm that, like its predecessor, Meizu MX5 will have a premium look and feel. Probably it will also have a fingerprint sensor.
Meizu will reportedly price the MX5 aggressively in China in order to handle the constantly increasing competition. The device is tipped to cost ¥1,799 (about $290).
In what concerns to rumored specifications, the Meizu MX5 will pack Mediatek MT6793 SoC, 5.5” 1080p AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable memory, and 20MP camera. The handset will boot FlymeOS 4.5 on top of Android Lollipop.
A higher end Meizu MX5 Pro will also be announced in the near future with a 6” QHD display, Exynos 7420 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and 20MP camera.
