To distinguish it’s true flagship from the other ones, Meizu it’s thinking about calling its new flagship only Meizu PRO 5, unlike what they did with other models, like the MX4 that da an improved version dubbed MX4 PRO.
This means that Meizu could be planning to create a sub-brand, so they can distinguish the top of the line equipments from the other ones. The Meizu PRO 5 box proves this, it only has a very small reference to the Meizu band on one side, according to the picture that are making the rounds online.
This Meizu PRO 5 will be available in two versions, one with the Exynos 7420 chipset and another with the MediaTek Helio X20 chipset, the first deca-core SoC. Both versions appeared previously on benchmark tests.
For, now, it’s also confirmed that both devices will come with a 5 inches screen with a resolution of1080p. In what concerns to the RAM there aren’t no certainties if it will come with 3 GB or 4GB. But one thing it’s for sure, this device will come with 32 GB of internal storage and a 21 MP camera.
The rumours will end on September 25th, the date when the first Meizu PRO model will be revealed. The Meizu PRO 5 should be available in the market for 470$.
