The Meizu MX5 has been on the spotlights, with a constant flow of rumours recently. The official revealing is now right around the corner and we keep hearing more interesting expectations about the flagship.
One of the rumours it’s about a special fast charging techonology, named mCharge. It can, supposedly, charge the battery up to 25% in about 10 minutes, and in 30 minutes it get to 60%. And according to previous rumours, the battery it’s 3150mAh.
As far as current fast charging technologies go, which is respectable achievment, but it’s still far from Oppo’s VOOC, which charge up to 70% of the Oppo 3000 mAh battery in 30 minutes. Once mCharge comes along, it’ll be interesting to compare to the existing tech.
We already familiar with the new Meizu MX5 and what we expect to see, come June 30. The rumour mill has been overflowing with photos, benchmark leaks and some expectations about wild camera hardware.
Until now, we know that the MX5 will pack a 5.5-inch FullHD display, which looks lika a downgrade form QHD until in the MX4 Pro, but it’s justifiable because the phone costs around $290, like suggested in previous reports. Besides, there is already talk of a MX5 Pro in the works to fill that void.
The specs that remain, includes a Mediatek MT6795T SoC, also known as the Helio X10. It comes with eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at up 2.1GHz and a PowerVR G6200 GPU. Internal storage is 16GB and 3GB of RAM. Previously there were some rumours that said that the camera was 41MP, but sadly they’ve been debunked, but still the phone will feature a 20.7MP rear camera which is capable of 2160p video recording. The front shooter is 5MP and can also record 1080p videos.
