What novelties are brought by the Optimus G?
New way of Cross Tasking and using involvement
Besides the talked about multitasking, LG brings a new term to the table with Cross Tasking. Making use of the great performance of the Optimus G, LG was able to get two tools in one device. If on one hand, multitasking implies that several applications run at the same time, cross-tasking allows that several complex tasks are ended at the same time without compromising the rest.
Regarding this issue the stand outs are QSlide, an application that allows two different apps to run simultaneously in the same screen, and Dual Screen Dual Play, that enables the user to experience different contents seperatelly in each screen.
The fun and smart capabilities of the Optimus G’s camera, will allow the user to capture and resize the special moments in their lives. With a 13MP camera, with the highest resolution available on the market, users will have the opportunity of capturing their favorite scenes in fun ways, as is already known by the Cheese Shutter and the Smart Shot.
Intemporal Design Master Piece
Given LG’s DNA and legacy, the delicate combination of design and technology make the simplicity of the Optimus G design stand out, given its unique shape and black color. In order to achieve this unique look, LG developed and patented the Crystal Reflection patent, that combined with the black of the Optimus G gives it a luxurious look.
Crystal Reflection allows the back of the device to show several different patterns according to the environment light and viewing angle. The polarized pattern gives this device a tridimensional illusion that closely looks like a jewel. Finally, the laser cut finish gives this model a metallic highlight finish.
Remarkable technologies for a top user experience
The brilliant and elegant design and the creative user experience of the Optimus G are possible due to the combination of the innovative technologies that make it, mainly the Snapdragon S4 Pro Qualcomm QuadCore. The master piece with technologies such as the Zerogap Touch, from LG Innotek, and True HD IPS Plus screen from LG Display, defines itself has the thinnest, most elegant and with the best viewing experience ever. The new battery from LG Chem has an 800 life cycle, which is a significant improvement when compared to previous smartphone models.
Following the success that the Optimus G has reached in the markets where it is available, where the 1 million sold units mark has already been reached, the G series also receives a new model the Optimus G Pro, that is capable of 4G connectivity and it is equipped with a Full HD IPS 5.5 inch screen and the new Snapdragon 600 Quad-Core, as well as with new user friendly features, such as Virtual Reality (VR) Panorama.
