This year vision from LG at MWC was “Innovation for a better life” and with this theme LG presented a huge variety of new mobile equipments. Between them the so talked G Flex 2, new wearables that promise a lot and a new mid-range smartphone line, already revealed at the press a few days ago.
According to Juno Cho, President and CEO of Mobile unity from LG Electronics Mobile Communications:
We are very happy with this year edition of MWC where will be presented a strong lineup of 170 products that represents the several technological interests from LG. From smartphones to wearables and through the internet of things, we are confidence in our capability to participate and lead and our presence in MWC will prove that.
Starting with the long-awaited LG G Flex 2, the successor of LG G Flex that raised a lot of fans. With this new divide LG Had the goal to “Redefine its curvature” and with this the brand believes that this is the smartphone more evolved in the market. With a curved display that’s ergonomic and elegant, a 5,5″ Full HD display that offers realistic and clear images, this smartphone promises to be a greatest smartphone, and one more time the high-range from LG. In addition of it’s specs, the LG G Flex 2 adds a great performance and user experience that could this smartphone in a highlight.
This time LG decided to invest in mid-range smartphones too. Therefore at MWC was announces four new models for a new mid-range line but with premium features, that LG doesn’t give up. They are: Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy. This smartphones came with premium design, in-cell touch displays and user experience from G series like Gesture Shot or Glance View. And because the connectivity of a device it’s important this four new devices will be available with a 3G and LTE versions.
For the first time LG has presented two switches, one with a cosmopolitan and classic design, the LG Watch Urbane, that seems to be an ordinary watch but with a great design; the other one is his brother LG Watch Urbane LTE, the first smartwatch offering NFC and LTE technologies. This last could be used as a walkie-talkie, thanks to push-to-talk, send and receive data without being connected with a smartphone. With Lg Watch Urban LTE you are able to connect with cars or do mobile payments. The drivers will be able to turn on or off his cars through the watch. The future plans to this watch it’s to turn it into a wrist GPS.
At MWC LG in partnership with LG+U shows to the world how you with the G Flex 2 will be able to control your appliances and devices at home. For incense, you will be able to control closed circuit cameras while you are out, or do video calls using your home wireless network.
