LG will begin updating the G4 smartphone to Android 6.0 Marshmallow next week. The Korean manufacturer announced the rollout of the latest Android build to its flagship handset in an official press release.
The G4 will first receive the new firmware in Poland and than more markets in Europe, Asia, and the Americas will follow.
The tech giant has worked closely with Google to make the update a reality. The update won’t be a surprise, as the G4 packs the same chipset as the recently launched Nexus 5X by LG.
