There have been rumours that Samsung is trying to pin down slow point in TouchWiz in order to have it up and ready for the launch of the Galaxy S6.
This time a report surfaced and according to SamMobile’s insiders Samsung is planning on removing just about all of its own preloaded apps from the new TouchWiz and include Microsoft apps like OneNote, OneDrive, Office Mobile, a free Office 365 subscription and Skype.
Besides messing around with the preloaded apps, Samsung will also change the interface in order to adopt Google’s Material Design animations and effects to be more in sync with the ones found in Android 5.0 Lollipop. On top of that you can also expect a refreshed Samsung keyboard, additional theme options, more colourful Samsung apps and different icon grid layouts for the app drawer (4×4, 4×5 and 5×5) and the removal of endless cycling in the app drawer.
Personally, being a owner of a Note 3, I don’t really know what is worse, having a ton of small preloaded apps that can be disabled and don’t bother me that much or having a full office suite in my smartphone much like polaris office, just heavier on the processing, guess I’ll just have to wait and see on this one…
