Huawei will be holding an event on IFA on September 2nd, in Berlim, and it seems that they will announce the Ascend Mate 7 successor.
This new Huawei handset was leaked by Evan Blass, @evleaks. We don’t know very much about this smartphone but in these pictures we can see a rear camera with a dual LED flash, as well as what appears to be a fingerprint reader. Blass originally suggested that the phone might have Force Touch tech as well, but he later clarified that that feature “has been pulled from this model.”
Previous leaks suggest to us that this device is either the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 Plus or the Huawei Ascend Mate 8, with the former being more probable according to the rumour.
The identity of this device is still unknown so we will have to wait for IFA to put an end to this mystery.
