The Japanese carrier KDDI released the Infobar A03 – this is a smartphone designed by the industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa. The handset was made by Kyocera and come with an aluminum body and in four different colors – Pool, Mocha Brown, Sakura Iro, and Nishikigoi.
But if you are thinking that this is a smartphone focused only on design you are wrong. The great look of the Infobar A03 packs high-end specs, like Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable memory. The smartphone’s display is a 4.5” 1080p unit. A 13MP main camera, 2MP front-facing unit, and full connectivity suite are also on this Japonese device. The Infobar A03 also offers IPX5/IPX8 rating, which meaning that it can be submersed in water. It will run Android 4.4 and the custom UI has been created by the award-winning web designer Yugo Nakamura.
There will also be several accessories available for this device, like bright-colored cases, all the way to a cool-looking wooden dock.
The Infobar A03 will be on the Japonese market in February.
