Ever since the announcement of Inbox by Gmail we have been patiently waiting for the app to reach Google Apps so most of us can make use of it.
Along the way there have been feature requests by users and Google also announced that some of them have been crossed off the list and another one will be eliminated soon enough as well.
It is now supported in iPads and an update also has been released to iOS users. In addition to this it now also works with Firefox and Safari, where as before it only worked on Chrome.
Sundar Pichai said that “Inbox support for Google Apps accounts will arrive imminently”, and he knows what he is talking about since he is SVP of Android, Chrome and Apps
This has been a big let down for those that user Google Apps accounts for work since they are unable to use Inbox as their sole email app even with an invitation.
It seems that the feature is coming soon enough and we hope that it brings a unified inbox option along. If you are interested in it you can request an invitation by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Anyone using Inbox yet?
