Abigail Sarah Brody started her career 20 years ago, and has worked on many Fortune 500 companies throughout that time. One of the most eye-catching of these companies is non-other than Apple, the American giant. Brody worked in the design of the first iOS for the first generation of iPhones, the company’s cloud storage service iCloud, and in ProKit, Apple’s internal professional application design language. Another sounding name found on her LinkdIn profile is Ebay, where she worked as Vice President of Blobal Design between 2010 and 2012. Now Huawei hired Brody as their new Chief UX Designer and also vice president of Huawei’s Device & Consumer division.
Huawei is now the top Chinese smartphone vendor, and third globally. The company has now revealed that it has increased this year’s Q3 product shipment by more than 60% when comparing to last year, 27.4 million vs. 16.8 million units.
