There have been several rumors around the Huawei P8 and the event on April 15th, in London. End with the rumors! It seems that this it’s actually true.
Huawei has reportedly started sending out press invites for the event. This will take place in London, as we said, from 3 PM to 4:30 PM local time on April 15th.
The invite itself doesn’t reveal anything about the event’s theme, however something “it’s coming”.
This probably should be the P8, so it should finally be announced. Huawei has been teasing its next flagship in China for quite a while now, promising us a strong screen, better camera, as well as great battery life.
According to some previous rumors about specifications, the Huawei P8 will have a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen, a ceramic unibody construction, dual 13 MP cameras on the back, 3GB of RAM, and a 2,600 mAh battery. Huawei’s own Kirin 930 SoC should be powering things up, sporting an octa-core CPU. The P8 may run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
For some reason Huawei choose not to introduce their new device at this year MWC. So this event it’s a great marketing strategy to “steal” the spot light from other equipments.
