Huawei launched the Honor 6 last year, and it’s starting to expande the slaes in more countries. The Honor 6 comes with pretty decent specs for this days and now it’s getting a redesigned user interface as well. It seems that Huawei it’s upgrading the Honor 6 to EMUI 3.0. The update is on its way to Honor 6 devices bought in Europe.
The Honor 6 was released running Android 4.4.2 KitKat with EMUI 2.3. This update wouldn’t change the Android version, so if you’ve been expecting the Lollipop that’s not coming, yet. But with this new version of Huawei’s EMUI you will get a new design and new icons. According to Huawei this is its “most user friendly and seamlessly integrated interface to date”.
You will also getting continuous home screen scrolling, adjustable app grids, resizeable widgets, context-aware actions, and a magazine unlock feature which uses a magazine cover for your lock screen background. The camera application has also been improved, now coming with the ability to embed watermarks in photos, panorama beautification, instant text translation, and QR code scanning.
