At the 2013 MWC Huawei introduced a concept of the brand “Make it Possible”. With the marketing campaigns all over the world, Huawei became a popular smartphones brand among the users worldwide. In October, 2014 Huawei became the first chinese company to enter with success to the 2014 Interbrand’s Top 100 Global Brands list.
Shao Yang, marketing vice-president of the Huawei Consumption says that:
We dive deeper in the “it” of the “Make it Possible”, that it’s the main connection element of the Huawei brans and the users emotions. We believe that the “it” it’s about the power of a dream and innovations and construction of an intense emotional connection with the users. With this,at the 2015 MWC, Huawei released a new brand ideal “Dreams Inspire Creativity” communicating internal spiritual motivations. The big Huawei ideal it’s a common spiritual value and the connection between the brand and its users. Huawei believes that if everyone believe in the power of dreams and creativity the World would be a better place.”
The limits of the chinese brand imagination were taken to the fullest, and in this 2015 MWC edition were presented extremely innovative products. Since several wearable devices, like TalkBand B2 and TalkBand N1, to their first smartwatch the Huawei Watch and the so wanted Huawei MediaPad X2 phablet.
According to the Huawei CEO, Richard Yu, the chinese company wants to achieve the lead in the wearables market:
For the users that have access and store personal data, they will make the wearables one of the more important devices of the Big Data and Cloud technology industry development. The wearable device that was announced demonstrates the Huawei commitment in inspiring the creativity and create products that will improve the user’s ecosystem. (…) Without a doubt that the wearable devices will be one of the most significant trends in the devices industry, that said, boosting the Huawei technology and innovation we want to achieve the lead in the wearable devices.”
In the Wearable field Huawei announced the Huawei TalkBand B2 that translates the perfect combination between a Bluetooth headset and a health monitor. This wearable gives life to the second genaration of Huawei TalkBand products, with a more profissional design, a smarter fitness monitor feature, better precision and enhanced synchronization with smartphones and tablets. On the other hand the Huawei TalkBand N1 announcement will revolutionize the wearable market, because it’s the first device with Hi-Fi and Bluetooth headset in the industry, with 4GB of MP3 storage, calls and sports monitoring.
Still about the wearables, but this time about smartwatches, the Huawei Watch it’s the first Huawei watch with a timeless design that it’s Smart. It has a 1.4″ AMOLED screen, scratches ans water proof with a circular design of 42 mm diameter.
Moving on to the Huawei MediaPAd X2 phablet. Well, here Huawei doesn’t play safe and come to win! It was announced the first phablet 64 bits LTE 4G ultra-core in the world, and if this was not enough this device only has 7.28 mm thick, becaming this way the thinnest phablet in the world.
