Some time ago, we published an article related to the results obtained in a study related to the temperature of diferent devices running. The HTC One M9 was the hottest device on the study, reaching up to 55º C, a temperature too high to a smartphone.
After these results, HTC announced that levels of temperature were related to the device’s software, and not from the Qualcomm Sanpdragon 810 processor. For these reason was released an OTA software update.
After the update, several tests were performed that has revealed that the temperature was reduced in 15ºC, a significante value with just a software update. So, the feedback from several users is that after his update the maximum temperature registrade on One M9 was 41,7ºC, as you can see in the picture below.
These are very good news to the HTC One M9 enthusiasts. There is no specific date to the lauch of the HTC One M9 but we hope that from 10 April the device starts to be available in the European market.
