The HTC surprised their fans when they announced a new smartphone very discreetly and only in its official website in India. The HTC One E9s was not introduced to the world with all the pomp and circumstance but it does justice to the brand slogan “Here’s To Change”, which aims to celebrate the change.
So we can say that the HTC One E9s is quite similar to a Desire 820 rejuvenated and doesn’t look so much like a premium and improved variant of its predecessor HTC One E9. The screen that equips this new smartphone is 5.5 inch one and with a resolution of 720p. There goes the premium and improvements on the screen, since the original One E9 offered us a 1080p resolution. We can also see in other aspects a step back, like in its dimensions, since One E9s is slightly heavier and thicker, despite having a smaller battery than the One E9.
In what concerns to other specifications, the HTC One E9s also has a 13MP rear camera and a 4MP UltraPixel selfie camera, a MediaTek MT6752M chipset, octa-core at 1.5GHz, 2GB RAM and LTE connectivity with the possibility of use two SIM cards. In addition, it also has stereo speakers and Dolby audio.
