Some of you might not have heard it, but there’s already talk for a replacement of the six month old HTC Butterfly 2, the Butterfly 3.
The HTC Butterfly 3 is said to have a 5.2 inch WQHD screen (via @upleaks Twitter), what does this mean, well it is just another designation of the old QHD but with a widescreen nature, with a pixel resolution of 1440×2560 which in a 5.2 diagonal means around 564ppi density.
This is a huge pixel density and only a few devices available on the market nowadays can be proud of such, Motorola Moto Maxx, Meize MX4 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A (Korean only). No doubt that if the Butterfly 3 becomes available on the market around August there will be more opposition by then.
The current Butterfly is a flagship in all that the name entails, only second to the One (M8) due to the plastic body, but opinions diverge here as some say that it has a better overall package since it has IP57 certification and a 13MP camera instead of the UltraPixel one.
