The new Android version started to roll out to Android devices in Movember but the majority of Android users are still wiating for the Lollipop version to arrive to their devices. Of all the Android devices out there only 1.6% are running Android Lollipop.
And why does it take so long to arrive to other Android devices? Well smartphone manufacturer needs to modify the software for their phones and carriers have to approve the update.
This a list of all the phones that have gotten the Lollipop update so far.
If you have a Verizon Galaxy S5, you can update your device to Lollipop at this instant. This was the first carrier in the US to launch the update for a Samsung smartphone. However in January it’s time for Poland.
According to Sam Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in Poland will also receive this update.
If your device it’s a Sprint or T-Mobile HTC One M8 you also can update your smartphone to Android 5.0 And there is more good news for HTC users because the company confirmed that the M7 will get it too. However there is no informations about the releasing date.
Lollipop is available for the AT&T version of the LG G3. There is also some reports that the LG G2 is getting the update in Europe.
This Android version is now available for the second-generation Moto X, the Moto G, and the first generation Moto G.
As usual Google’s own Nexus always get the newest Android updates first. The recent Nexus 6 already comes with Lollipop out of the box. And the previous Nexuxs, Nexus 5, should be receiving this update very soon.
The OnePlus One has been updated to Android 5.0, but it’s only the standard version of Android.
This has been a long waiting forAndroid fans that have been eager to get the Lollipop especially because its being called the biggest Android update until now.
