Yep , that´s right , Google is looking for people to find bugs on Android and pay them!
The announcement was made on Android Security Rewards , a program that congratulates security researchers and others who find vulnerabilities on the latest Android versions for current Nexus devices.
From $333 to $8,000 is the price range , going from low-security bugs to a fully well-written CTS test and patch to a critical vunerability on the system.
But there are a bunch of exceptions , such as that you have to be the first one to report the vulnerability and you have to tell Google first. See all the list here.
For people who finds bugs just for the laughs , Google will double the reward for the bug found and donate it to a charity of your choice.
