A new interface for browsing news on Google’s mobile website has been introduced by Google in a post on their Inside Search blog.
Now, when you search for a topic you will see a carousel of the recent articles regarding your search terms that you can horizontally scroll through.
The carousel only contains articles from a single source of information.
For instance, if you search for “NBA” and you may see a carousel of articles from NBA.com and Bleacher Report. While for instance, searching for “NPR” will bring up a carousel of news from the source’s website.
You could also search for a specific topic like “Greece” and you will then be presented with all of the articles that The Guardian published regarding that topic.
All of this is a new and easy to use interface.
Google says that it is working to make this feature available for more websites soon as their main goal with this new interface is to make news easier to sift through and digest.
If you are curious go ahead and try it now on Google’s mobile website!
