In the early months of 2015 we started hearing about a new samrtwatch but this time it wasn’t from a popular technology company. This time it was from a well known watch company, Fossil. A few months ago, we got a preview of the Fossil Q line. Then, the Fossil Group bought the Misfit technology brand and finally last week the Fossil Q Founder was officially released. Now, this smartwatch will be available very soon on Google Store.
The Fossil Q Founder will be available for $275 and runs Android Wear. Despite these informations, there aren’t any others about availability, shippind or the pre-order date.
This Fossil smartwatch will be available in two models: the light stainless steel case/silver-finish steel bracelet and another stainless steel version with a leather band. Price shouldn’t change though and just the same as what’s listed on Fossil’s website.
The Fossil Q Founder comes with a 1.5-inch circular touchscreen display, 360 x 326 pixel resolution, Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity, WiFi, 400mAh battery, 4GB built-in storage, and 1GB RAM. Smartwatch may be Android Wear-powered with at least Android 4.4 but it’s also compatible for devices running iOS 8 or later. The Fossil Q Founder is also IP67 certified.
