Meizu, the chinese consumer electronics company never used a Qualcomm chipset for it’s mobile devices. Instead it uses chipsets from the house of Mediatek and Samsung. The MX series used to house Samsung chipsets, but MX4 and MX5 used Mediatek chipsets, only exception being the MX4 Pro, which relied on the Exynos 5430 SoC (System-on-chip).
The News is that, instead of launching MX5 Pro, Meizu is working on another device that will house the current performance champion SoC, the Exynos 7420, which is found in the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. It’s also working on a dual glass design like the S6 Edge, and the price tag is also rumored to be similar.
It’s still a rumor, But if it’s true, then it will be one-hell-of-a-phone. But is it true ? We will soon find out.
