As we all know, Samsung is also known for their wearables, whenever they are fitness trackers or smartwatches.
Although there are many options, most of them aren’t very cheap, some of the devices were targeted to a wealthier niche which means, not everyone would be capable of buying a Samsung wearable. But, as the title suggests, Samsung is known to be working on a entry-level activity tracker with the model name SM-R150, or Triathlon, and like the name suggests, it’s very possible that it’s an activity tracker or a fitness device.
When it comes to price, we belive that it’s going towards what the Xiaomi Mi Band has to offer, which they sell it for 15$ in China and India. Spec wise it’s a shot in the dark, but surely you won’t get a heartbeat sensor if you consider the model number which is lower than the Gear Fit (SM-R350).
By trying to please everyone, Samsung also released S Health and Samsung Gear apps for non-Samsung smartphones, which translates into a wider market, and that may translate into higher profit.
With Fitbit, Xiaomi and Misfit leading the market of activity wearables, Samsung sure is going to rock their boat by jumping into this fight.
